Hey Guys, Hope you are well. This week’s edition is sponsored by Microsoft. Just kidding (lol), but I wish it was and for this please share this newsletter so subscribers grow and one day The Hustler’s Newsletter is actually sponsored by Microsoft.
This week I checked out Future Me. And …..
It was one of the best things that happened to me. I loved the simple and minimalistic approach. I mean that is a way for me to review whether whatever I had planned worked for me and is also a way for self-accountability. I am planning to write 2-3 more letters as the first was a really lovely experience for not only sending but also receiving the letter.
And now for the super exciting news: We have launched on product hunt!!. Yay!
(Wanna learn how to launch om PH? I will be giving that out in the next issue!)
Now for this week’s learnings
Cold Emailing is a skill that is essential for life. You can use it in whatever you are doing, whether it is getting a job that is unlisted, finding a mentor, getting answers to your question, or anything else. There are 3 major things that you need to keep in mind while cold emailing. Those are:
Keep it short, to the point, and cut down all the unnecessary fluff.
Personalize it. Don’t simply use a template.
Have a goal, Call to action and remember to follow up. (Don’t just dismiss the nudge when Gmail prompts you to follow up!)
I also created a doc on cold emailing here: Art of cold emailing. Check it out for more hacks while reaching out cold
What I’ve been working on:
Creating playbooks on interesting topics
And creating reusable content
This brings us to the end of this edition’s learning. Do reach out if you have any questions by either replying to email or on Twitter. If you liked this edition, why not share it:
